A website landing page is a page that has been especially created as the target for your website advertising, including your Google Adwords campaign. It may be the first page your potential customers see and their first experience with your business. A landing page provides an accurate way of evaluating the effectiveness of your advertising click-throughs.
A good landing should be carefully constructed to lead your new visitor into your site, exactly where you want them to go (that is, if they stay). Have a limited number of menu items, and minimise page clutter to keep your campaign sharp and focussed. Be sure to include an enquiry form without too many questions to encourage a response.

Google Analytics is a free product that provides detailed statistics and analysis tools for your website. With Google Analytics, you can be automatically emailed an XLS or PDF of recent site activity whenever you choose. You can also examine how long traffic stays on each page, and how often visitors leave your site from a particular page, possibly indicating the effectiveness of specific pages.
